“Unicorns Are Alive and Glaciers Are Melting!” – Postcards from the Future in Children's Gallery
In autumn 2025, sixth graders visited A Revolution in Imagery exhibition at the Postal Museum and then created postcards from the future in image-editing workshops as part of the Art Arc (Taidekaari) cultural education programme. The workshops were led by Oskari Tolonen from Tampereen taidekasvatus ry. What kind of news and events would be shared on postcards from the future?
The exhibition features postcards created by classes from the schools of Etelä-Hervanta, Koivisto, Lamminpää, Linnainmaa, Rahola, Tammela, Terälahti, Wivi Lönn and Vuores, as well as from the Tampere University Teacher Training School. The works are playful, touching and insightful.

The exhibitions in the Corridor Gallery are part of the Children and Youth Gallery concept developed by the Children's Cultural Centre Rulla and the Cultural Education Programme Taidekaari, which brings children's and young people's art into public space.
