Pay per visit exercise groups

Guided pay per visit exercise groups and water gymnastics groups are organized in the swimming pools. You don't need to register for these groups. Groups can accommodate a limited number of participants.

The price is €5.70 per visit, and in the water gymnastics groups there is also an entrance fee to the swimming pool. The spring season is from 12 January to 17 May 2026.

Hervanta Swimming Pool

Gym equipment guidance

Tampere Swimming Centre 

Guidance includes an introduction to the gym equipment with a sports instructor, lasting about 45 min. Gym entrance fee. The guidance is by appointment during the Swimming Centre's opening hours. 

Spring season equipment guidance begins on 5 January 2026.

Immigrant women's exercise

At Hervanta Swimming Pool, Torisevanraitti 7. Spring season is 12 January–15 May 2026.

Women's swimming (age limit 17 years) Mondays at 18.30–21.00

  • Entry from 18.30 to 19.00
  • Swimming and gym time until 20.30
  • Entrance fee to the swimming pool

Lesson contents

Kettlebell

Kettlebell class is an effective, full-body muscle fitness exercise. The class consists of initial warm-up, functional movements that raise the heart rate. Duration 60 min.

Fitness boxing

In the class, endurance and muscle fitness as well as coordination are practiced using punches and kicks. The equipment is boxing gloves and boxing pads. Duration 60 min.

Circuit training

In the circuit training, muscle strength is strengthened and balance is practiced as  a rotational training  using various equipment and using your own body weight. Duration 60 min. (For the time being, the group has been removed from the selection.)

Water exercise

Water gymnastics is a safe and effective form of exercise for the joints. Swimming skills are not necessary, as the workouts are held in shoulder-deep water. The workout is paced by brisk music and on some occasions tools are used to provide more resistance. Duration 30 min.

Deep water exercise

Exercise in deep water, swimming skills necessary. As a rule, a water running belt and other exercise equipment are used as a tool. Duration 30 min.
