1. To evaluate and develop cooperation between the city and organisations in a multifaceted and long-term manner.

2. Enable organisations to participate more actively in the evaluation and development of the city's strategic areas as an expert body.

3. To collect information on the well-being and everyday life of local residents and to collect information on the needs of well-being promotion.

4. To identify and select welfare promotion entities to which the organisations, either independently or in cooperation with the city, can contribute.

5. To initiate experiments in collaboration with Tampere organisations and the city to promote well-being and inclusion, and to seek resources for these experiments and development work, taking into account the interfaces of the welfare area.

6. Monitor and, where possible, guide and promote the development projects initiated.

7. To communicate activities both to the city and to organisations. Enable dialogue among organisations and between organisations and the city.

16.1.2024

At the meeting, the welfare development programme was presented, the annual calendar was updated and the themes for the current year were discussed. A survey of members will be carried out to improve the activities of the organisation's representative office.

7.5.2024

Experiences and feedback from the Well-being Forum were discussed. Heard about the City of Tampere's digitalisation of grant activities project and the effectiveness landscape of grants. A summary of the questionnaire on the activities of the Representation Office was discussed.

3.9.2024

Planned the events of the Civic Engagement Day and discussed experiences and feedback on the Well-being Forum organised by the Representation. Heard about the content and progress of the City of Tampere's digitalisation of aid project and got acquainted with the project's aid landscape.

3.12.2024

The meeting presented the upcoming well-being survey and considered the possibilities for organisations to participate in the data collection. A council initiative on the capacity of organisations was discussed, as well as the inclusion of the organisations' perspective in the response to the initiative. New members were elected to the representative body and it was decided that the categories of organisations lacking a representative could still be completed.
