Ground investigations will be carried out in the Hiedanranta and Vaitinaro areas during the summer
The ground investigations for the Hiedanranta road plan for highway 12 and cantonal road 65 will be carried out during the summer of 2025. The work will start in late May and is expected to continue until mid-July.
In particular, the ground investigations will include boreholes, which will be carried out throughout the planning area. The work will concentrate on the road area of the Paasikiventie, the pedestrian and cycle paths and their immediate vicinity in the terrain of the highway 12 and the cantonal road 56.
Although the investigations will not be carried out on the roadways, the excavation vehicles will move along the road and, in some places, in the yards of the properties.
The area is busy and the work may cause occasional and localized disruption to traffic and the environment.
