Business or association – showcase your activities at Puistofiesta
Puistofiesta – an urban event for the whole family – will be held on 2 August. The event brings Hämeenpuisto park to life as a meeting place for city residents, where local businesses and associations can showcase their activities. Register as an operator by 24 May.
One more residents' evening is coming up
Throughout the spring, we’ve been hosting Tampere Residents’ Evenings in various parts of the city. There’s still one more event coming up in Kaukajärvi on 29 April. Have you attended any of these events yet? We’d love to hear your feedback.

Legislative change takes effect: You will start using a digital mailbox for public authority services
| News itemReceiving mail from public authorities will primarily become digital as of 14 April 2026. When you authenticate yourself for the first time to an electronic service of, for example, the City of Tampere or another public authority, you will be guided to activate Suomi.fi Messages. Suomi.fi Messages will replace paper mail sent by different authorities: the same matter will no longer be sent later as a letter to your home. -
