Did you know that in the Lupa liikkua Lupa harrastaa exercise groups you can do many different sports for free! Explore through the calendar of activities and discover a huge range of activities to choose from. Registration for the 2025-2026 season starts on 12.8.2025 at 18:00.

Interested in trying out a new sport? Or just go and see what you can do in an outdoor gym?
Tampere has a huge variety of activities and to top it all off, there are free youth practices where you can try out everything from boxing to climbing.
Art
Would you like to paint, use yours words, sew or do something creative? You can unleash your creativity and immerse yourself in different arts at a basic art class at the the Adult Education Centre or try different crafts at the Youth Cultural Centre.
Make a sound
Whether you're a musician, singer or producer, you'll know that there are plenty of free groups and spaces in Tampere just for you. You can play and sing in library music rooms, or play with others or even rap in the youth cultural centre's hobby groups. Oh, and you can also practise, record or put on a show at the Youth Cultural Centre in the Monitoimitalo 13.
Read, make, play
Did you know that in addition to reading, you can play games, make your own poster, print your own shirt and play music at the Main Library Metso? And that Sampola Library has a Techno Room with two 3D printers, a vinyl cutter, a heat press, a sewing machine, a seamer, a laminator, a pin machine and a drawing table?
Admire, listen and get inspired
Have you noticed that there are museums in Tampere where you can experiment and get involved? You can play games or explore natural phenomena! Or would you like to hear what a symphony sounds like live? Tampere Philharmonia brings music experiences for all ages, including concerts, star tours and music education.
